My Culture by Jiajun Wu

Intro

“A lot of my designs actually come from the observation around me, because I don't have a professional background, so a lot of my designs come from my "sudden ideas". In most cases, I will use basic graphics, such as circles, rectangles, triangles, and large color blocks, and mix them with the familiar things to me. What I believe the most is nature, nature is always the best artist. And then do a combination relative to the theme with nature.

I think we now have a certain level of resources, but we do not know enough about our own culture, even do not agree with or hate them; Therefore, I want to let more friends, strangers, like-minded people and even foreign friends know about our culture.”

“Open Cities” for Madrid Poster Exhibition 2022

Forum for Madrid, call on graphic designers from all over the world to take part in the poster exhibition of this new edition under the Motto: Ciudades Abiertas / Open Cities.

"The word 'open' I think is 'inclusive, equal',for all people is the same, in the city everyone is in different square 'boxes' furnishings are different, can not see the inclusion, the actual inclusive should be the 'road', because it is the same for everyone, not because of your gender, faith,

This is the biggest 'open city'. That’s my creative concept."
