This form is used for the legal aspect of your collaboration with DART Magazine, we respect your rights as a creator and artist, and your consent means everything to us and our readers.
Signing this form means giving DART Magazine the legal rights to publish, feature, and advertise your work on all DART official social media platforms(Instagram, X, Xiaohongshu, etc), its physical print issue(not yet available), and its website with the images, audio, and video you have sent to us. Under all circumstances, the original creator(you) will keep the legal copyrights to your work, DART will not own your work.
About print issues:
We would not make money from the artists we feature, and we do not own your works either. Which means when we set the price for our print issue, we are simply making up the base cost and a minor amount of profit for the time and effort we spend on running a magazine and surviving as a student-run organization. We are definitely not selling your work. If you would like more info on this, feel free to email us.
If you choose to show your works in our print issues, we will handle the design and layout, in the mean time working with the creator(you) to present the work in the best way possible in the magazine.
As for online content, we will not gain benefits by showing your work. We don’t charge our readers either.
By signing this form, you acknowledge and agree that your digital signature carries the same legal validity and enforceability as a handwritten signature.
Each of these forms can only used once for each work/collection, and before signing this form, the creator(you) and DART Magazine should have reached an agreement on which work is going to be featured.
